Participating in the ‘Shout Out’ Initiative
SHOUT OUT is your opportunity to say ‘Thank you’ to the CFS volunteer firefighters for their efforts over the 2018/19 fire danger season.
On Friday 24th of May 2019, show your support by wearing a yellow item of clothing, just like volunteers do, and making a gold coin donation to the CFS Foundation.
Organise an event at work, school or with friends, to support those who volunteer for you.
Contact Natalia on email@example.com should you wish to take part in SHOUT OUT! Don’t forget to visit our Facebook page for more info.
Signing up for the trial of the Friends of the CFS Foundation app
The Friends of the CFS Foundation app has been developed to send timely and relevant offers to over 14,000 CFS volunteer firefighters by local businesses, for a subscription fee.
50% of the proceeds will go directly to the CFS Foundation to help support our local volunteer firefighters.
Businesses will receive marketing support and advice from our team of experts including the creation of offers for the app and in-store promotions.
The CFS Foundation is currently trialling the app in nine CFS brigades, including Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully, One Tree Hill, Dalkeith, Clare, Morphett Vale, Happy Valley, Seaford and Stirling.

Donating to the Trauma Teddy Appeal
Trauma teddies are given to victims of road crash incidents by the CFS volunteers.
CFS volunteers do extra fundraising outside of their normal volunteering hours to purchase these teddies.
The CFS Foundation is currently running a trauma teddy appeal to help fund their purchase so the volunteers can continue to focus on their community service.
If you would like to contribute to this appeal, please click the 'donate' link on this website, and put 'trauma teddy' in the reference/comments field.
